The ferrule plug is not
only a beautiful touch to the complete bamboo rod, but is functional in keeping
your female ferrule clean during storage or transport to and from the river.
Unlike many nickel ferrule plugs, I prefer the cork insert because it is
simply easier to remove and causes less wear on the female ferrule. Ferrule
plugs come standard on all my rods.
